As a lifelong sports fan and seasoned tech leader, the founder and Grablr team spent years missing special moments while waiting in long lines at concession stands to order food and drinks. Despite leading teams in technology and operations, the team realized the real solution wasn’t just another app, but smarter logistics that connected fans, food vendors, and stadium staff in a seamless ecosystem. The founding team quickly discovered that in-seat delivery was a major underserved need at most arenas. That insight sparked the inception of Grablr - stadium delivery. The founding team chose to launch Grablr - stadium delivery at HBCUs first, building a strong foundation with schools and communities that reflect their culture, innovation and love for fans to experience live events uninterrupted.

Alex Tolbert

Founder & CEO

Alex is a technology leader and Google Certified AI Professional with over 15 years of experience driving digital transformation across complex environments. As the Founder and CEO of Grablr, he bootstrapped the platform from inception, defining its product vision and assembling a high-impact leadership team to scale the mission. His background spans leadership roles at high-growth companies like Yelp, global brands such as Coca-Cola, and various Fortune 200 enterprises, allowing him to blend deep technical expertise with sophisticated operational execution.

Alex focuses on reimagining the fan experience by bridging the gap between software, AI, and frontline operations. By collaborating with stadium partners, universities, and major food vendors, he delivers scalable solutions that enhance the fan experience while providing business intelligence in real-time. As Grablr enters its next growth phase, Alex is dedicated to securing strategic partnerships and positioning the company for institutional investment, ensuring long-long-term value for both vanue partners and fans alike.

Derrick Yancey

Chief Operating Officer

Derrick is an organizational strategist and operator with 20+ years of experience scaling teams and driving transformation inside global brands like Walmart, Anheuser-Busch, and Nike. Derrick specializes in building high-performance cultures, launching new business functions, and developing leadership pipelines that fuel sustainable growth. With advanced training in Psychology and Organizational Psychology from Purdue and Roosevelt University. He excels at blending data-driven people strategy with the operational grit needed to build high-performance cultures from the ground up.

As COO, Derrick is the architect behind the systems that power Grablr's growth. He specializes in launching new business functions and developing leadership pipelines that turn ambitious visions into sustainable reality. By aligning talent, culture, and execution, Derrick ensures the mission remains scalable and the team stays focused on long-long-term growth.

Jason White

Head of Business Development

Jason is a growth-focused strategist and a veteran of international market expansion, with a career defined by structuring complex partnerships and unlocking new revenue streams across the globe. Most notably serving as Vice President of Manaa Bin Hasher Al Maktoum Investments, LLC, Jason has navigated the high-stakes business landscapes of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, building a powerful cross-border network and a reputation for closing sophisticated, high-impact deals.

As Head of Business Development, Jason is the bridge between Grablr’s innovation and the global marketplace. He specializes in identifying entry initiatives and building the strategic alliances that serve as the foundation for the company’s long-long-term vision. By blending deep investment expertise with a regulatory approach to revenue expansion, Jason ensures that Grablr’s growth is not just rapid, but strategically anchored and built for a global stage.
